Application Support Analyst

Trad-X is the electronic trading platform for Swaps owned by Tradition and 13 dealers. Tradition is one of the world's largest interdealer brokers in over-the-counter financial and commodity related products part of Compagnie Financière Tradition. CFT is represented in over 28 countries, employing over 2,500 people.

Trad-X is currently seeking to appoint an Application Support Analyst to be based in our Paris office.

Main responsibilities within the Application Support Analyst position include:

• Providing first-line and ongoing application support across trading platforms and associated systems
• Proactively monitoring platforms, system alerts, and the ticketing queue to ensure timely issue resolution
• Maintaining and updating reference data accurately and efficiently
• Performing trade reconciliation and investigating discrepancies where required
• Managing and resolving client and broker queries arising from daily trading activity
• Processing client data updates, including instruments and account maintenance
• Producing and distributing end-of-day operational and trading reports
• Supporting business continuity by working extended hours when required to meet operational deadlines
• Participating in an on‑call rota and providing occasional weekend support as needed

Key skills and experience required in this role:

• Strong knowledge of financial markets, with a particular focus on Fixed Income and Derivatives
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in both French and English (written and spoken)
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with excellent attention to detail
