Application Specialist – Diagnostics & Scientific Affairs

Northern France (Lille / Paris region) | Hybrid (1 day on-site per week)

We are working with a growing diagnostics company developing rapid testing solutions used in regulated environments.

They are looking for an Application Specialist to support customers, distributors, and internal teams with technical expertise and product implementation.

This is a strong opportunity for someone currently in an applications or technical role who wants to gain broader exposure across international projects and move towards more strategic, externally facing responsibilities.

What you will be doing

• Deliver product training to customers and distributors
• Support onboarding and implementation of diagnostic solutions
• Act as the first point of contact for technical questions and troubleshooting
• Support validation activities, field evaluations, and performance discussions
• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, R&D, and QA/RA teams
• Support key accounts and strategic technical projects

What we are looking for

• Degree in Life Sciences, Microbiology, Biotechnology or similar
• Around 2 to 5 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role (Application Specialist, Field Application Scientist, Technical Support, Product Specialist, etc.)
• Experience with diagnostics, laboratory testing, or analytical technologies
• Comfortable working with customers, labs, or distributors
• Strong communication skills and a practical, solution-oriented mindset
• Fluent in English; French strongly preferred
