We are looking for a

As application manager or senior product manager within health & beauty, you connect Oleon’s technical expertise with the needs of the personal care market. You work closely with customers, sales teams and internal experts to understand formulation challenges, identify opportunities and translate technical possibilities into relevant, value‑adding solutions.

You start from customer needs, market trends and application insights. By understanding how Oleon’s ingredients perform in formulations, you help define product and application opportunities that are both technically relevant and commercially meaningful. You translate these insights into clear technical product specifications, strong application arguments and practical input for customer discussions.

From there, you coordinate cross‑functional product development projects from concept to market launch. You bring together colleagues from R&D, quality, regulatory, account management and market management, and work with them to align technical feasibility, customer expectations and business objectives. In this role, you help ensure that new or adapted products, application concepts, product launches and portfolio initiatives move forward in a structured and well‑coordinated way.

You manage the technical commercialization process for new products and product improvements. This includes coordinating product testing, validation and introduction processes, while making sure that the right internal expertise is involved at each stage. You also support the development and execution of product strategies and roadmaps within the personal care segment.

By monitoring product performance, market evolutions, competitive developments and customer needs, you identify opportunities for optimization, innovation and further portfolio development.

You use these insights to support key accounts, strengthen commercial discussions and help Oleon respond proactively to market opportunities.

As a trusted technical sparring partner for colleagues and customers, you provide application know‑how, prepare technical presentations, answer formulation‑related questions and help keep relevant product documentation accurate and up to date.

Who are we looking for?

You’ll succeed if:

• You bring at least 10 years of relevant experience in the health & beauty industry, in roles as application manager or senior product manager. A background as formulator is a strong asset.
• A master’s degree in a scientific field is considered an asset.
• You combine technical credibility with a clear commercial mindset. You enjoy being close to customers and markets, and you know how to turn technical expertise into concrete business opportunities.
• You can look beyond one product and understand the wider complexity of customer needs, formulation performance, market expectations and regulatory requirements.
• You are fluent in English and have professional proficiency in Dutch or French.
• You are internationally minded, mobile, and willing to travel up to 30% of your time.
