The Impact You'll Make

As our newApplication Engineer – Refrigeration & Controls , you will bridge the gap between refrigeration system technology and the Commercial Compressors (CC) Electronics team. Your work will enable faster, smoother project execution and reduce testing time and effort across the R&D organizations.

TheCC‑Electronicsteam is responsible for developing advanced electronic control solutions that enhance refrigeration system performance, efficiency, and reliability. By working closely with system application teams, we ensure our electronics meet real‑world operational needs, supporting Danfoss’ mission to improve energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading the alignment of refrigeration system control requirements with electronics and control development.
• Collaborating with system application engineers in France and electronics engineers in Denmark to ensure seamless integration.
• Translating application needs into clear technical specifications for electronics solutions.
• Driving continuous improvement in cross‑disciplinary collaboration and testing processes.
• Supporting R&D projects to accelerate delivery and enhance quality.

What We're Looking For

• Strong technical background inelectrical/electronic engineering.
• Proven experience in refrigeration systems and/or electronic controls.
• Strong ability to translate application needs into technical requirements.
• Proficiency in requirement management tools and documentation.
• Excellent communication skills in English (and ideally French or Danish).
• Experience working in cross‑border, cross‑disciplinary teams.
