Role Overview
Following an internal mobility within the company, we are seeking a Process Engineer Analytics (m/f) for our laboratory at Chalon‑sur‑Saône. This role is intended for a professional passionate about precision analytical chemistry.
Responsibilities
- Drive analytical innovation: lead strategic analytical developments and qualification of new molecules, ensuring reliability of our products.
- Lead developments in ICP‑MS and Ion Chromatography, specifically for organosilicate and organometallic molecules.
- Train teams on advanced analytical techniques and provide specialized expertise in ICP‑MS and Ion Chromatography.
- Manage qualification of new molecule suppliers and define qualification protocols in collaboration with the Quality department.
- Act as analytical and technical point of contact with Air Liquide's international laboratories (notably Fremont and Dallas) for correlation studies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, demonstrating strong proposal‑making capacity, particularly regarding safety, and ensuring effective cross‑functional management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Master’s degree or Engineering degree in analytical chemistry.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience with essential proficiency in ICP‑MS and Ion Chromatography techniques.
- Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment.
- Critical thinking, rigor, meticulousness, and perseverance.
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively in collaboration with laboratories abroad.
