Analyst
Role Description
The Analyst for PIF 2 | Projet d'Investissement Forestier Côte d’Ivoire – phase 2 will support data-driven decision-making for forest investment and sustainable land‑use initiatives. This part‑time, hybrid role is based in Paris, with a mix of onsite collaboration and work‑from‑home flexibility. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include collecting, cleaning, and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data on forestry projects, environmental impacts, and socio‑economic indicators. The Analyst will prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations that translate complex information into clear insights for project managers, technical experts, and partners. Additional tasks include contributing to financial and risk analyses, monitoring project performance metrics, supporting grant or donor reporting, and coordinating with cross‑functional teams to ensure data integrity and timely delivery of analytical outputs.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including experience with data collection, validation, and statistical analysis.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and data tools (e.g., Excel, data visualization software, or basic analytics platforms).
- Ability to create clear reports, dashboards, and presentations tailored to diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of environmental, forestry, or sustainability topics, ideally within international development or investment projects.
- Solid understanding of project monitoring and evaluation methods and performance indicators.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in French is highly beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines in a part‑time, hybrid setting.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work respectfully and inclusively with multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, statistics, environmental science, public policy, finance, or a related field; a relevant master’s degree is an asset.
- Prior experience in analytical roles within NGOs, public sector, international organizations, or impact investment projects is advantageous.
