Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer Avel Technologies
Overview
We are looking for an experienced Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer to join our team in Toulouse and contribute to advanced semiconductor solutions for the automotive market.
In this role, you will work on the design of analog and digital blocks for BMS mixed-signal integrated circuits, while also supporting products already in production through technical analysis and investigation of customer feedback.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience;
- Strong experience in analog IC/block design;
- Experience with high-voltage design techniques;
- Knowledge of design techniques for ESD and EMC robustness;
- Experience with silicon debugging and design support for validation activities;
- Good knowledge of BiCMOS technology;
- Experience with simulation tools such as SPICE and Cadence;
- Experience with requirements management tools such as Rational DOORS, DOORS Next Generation and ELM7;
- Previous experience working on automotive projects;
- Autonomous working style, strong technical proficiency and problem-solving capabilities;
- Strong communication skills in English & French, with the ability to collaborate effectively in an international engineering environment
Nice to Have
- Previous experience with Battery Management Systems (BMS)
Responsibilities
- Design analog and digital blocks for BMS mixed-signal integrated circuits;
- Develop and optimize analog circuitry using high-voltage design techniques;
- Ensure designs meet ESD and EMC robustness requirements;
- Perform and support silicon debugging and validation activities;
- Use simulation environments and tools such as SPICE and Cadence throughout the design process;
- Support products in production by analyzing customer feedback and technical issues;
- Collaborate with validation and engineering teams throughout the IC development lifecycle;
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of advanced automotive mixed-signal semiconductor solutions.
