About the Opportunity
Teledyne e2v Semiconductors SAS, located in Saint‑Egrève near Grenoble, is seeking an Analog and Mixed‑Signal Design Engineer to join our team of experienced designers.
Responsibilities
- Design, model and verify analog blocks for high‑speed data converters (>10 GS/s), including SAR, pipeline architectures, etc.
- Define technical specifications with system requirements (bandwidth, linearity, SNR, ENOB, power, etc.).
- Create schematics and perform time‑domain and frequency‑domain simulations; supervise layout adhering to RF and signal integrity constraints.
- Implement mixed‑signal verification methodologies: AMS co‑simulation, SystemVerilog behavioral modeling to accelerate system simulations.
- Develop automated simulation environments for functional verification and coverage of use‑case scenarios.
- Collaborate with system, digital, packaging and test teams to ensure circuit performance meets real‑world conditions, including DFT and measurability.
- Participate in design reviews, risk analysis, and technical documentation.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of design and verification processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in microelectronics or signal processing; engineering diploma preferred.
- Proven experience designing analog, mixed‑signal and RF circuits, ideally in high‑frequency data converters.
- Proficient with EDA tools: Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, AMS Designer, Matlab, and Python for data analysis.
- Experience with mixed‑signal verification: AMS co‑simulation, behavioral modeling, and system‑level validation under constraints.
- Sound knowledge of converter architectures, noise, jitter, linearity, and calibration techniques.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary, international environment.
- Fluent in French and comfortable communicating in English.
- Additional experience in integrating analog circuits into complex SoCs, SystemVerilog modeling, signal and power integrity verification, and quality/reliability standards is a plus.
Benefits & Working Environment
Projects at the cutting edge of semiconductor technology, a collaborative R&D environment, opportunities for technical and managerial growth, international exposure within Teledyne, flexible working conditions, commitment to QSE/RSE initiatives, and a strong focus on work‑life balance.
