Job Description

The Amazon Delivery Choices (DC) organization, part of the broader Delivery Experience (DEX) group, aims to provide retail customers with alternatives to rapid delivery. Their focus is on offering more control, choice, sustainability, and the convenience of combining items into fewer deliveries. The successful candidate will join an innovative, technical team that is building the next generation of software solutions for DC products, launching them into Amazon stores across the globe. This role requires a motivated Senior Software Development Engineer (SDE III) with a proven history of successfully delivering new features or products in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong design and implementation experience, along with knowledge of web services and protocols. As an SDE III, you will design, manage, and own core technologies within the delivery programs space and will have a substantial impact on the team’s overall strategy by helping to define new product features, driving system architecture, and leading the adoption of best practices to ensure a high‑quality product.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
