Job Overview
Fives Services Gulf is seeking an Aluminium Services Sales Manager to lead and manage commercial execution for Aluminium services, modernization projects, and spare parts across the Gulf. The role ensures delivery of FSG SOI and alignment with Aluminium Division sales strategy.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Commercial Strategy & Operating Framework – Define and implement operating framework, processes, and procedures for FSG commercial execution in compliance with standards.
- Commercial Plans – Lead development and execution of plans for Services, Repairables, Modernization Projects, Estimation, and Spare Parts, aligning with division strategy and regional objectives.
- Sales Policies & Targets – Oversee implementation of regional sales policies, set profitability targets, and ensure sustainable revenue generation.
- Marketing & Business Development – Contribute to regional marketing and business development plans supporting aluminium division strategy.
- Customer & Market Engagement – Build and maintain strong relationships with regional customers; schedule regular client meetings, identify new opportunities, maintain client database, analyze market and competitor data.
- Supplier Relationship – Build relationships with local suppliers; develop market penetration strategies.
- Bid & Commercial Governance – Plan and prioritize commercial team activities, coordinate bid decisions, lead negotiations for large contracts, develop pricing strategies.
- Spare Parts Business Management – Define and execute spare parts strategy, drive growth, manage KPIs, coordinate with sales, operations, and supply chain.
- Marketing & Brand Development – Lead FSG‑level marketing and communication initiatives, support events, advertising, and PR.
- Financial Accountability – Full budget accountability for Sales and Spare Parts functions, including planning, monitoring, and P&L forecast contribution.
- People Management – Set individual goals for direct reports, evaluate performance, provide coaching, ensure recruitment activities compliance.
- Compliance & Risk Management – Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations (including QHSE) and apply company policies.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience.
- Experience in an aluminium commercial environment preferred.
Special Requirements
- Proficiency in MS Office and Salesforce.
- Excellent knowledge of Aluminium Smelting operations and Gulf customer base.
- Arabic/French speaker preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a highly visible environment.
- Regular regional travel (approximately once per month for client visits).
- Occasional international travel required.
