Job Description Summary

Le programme STEP de GE Vernova offre aux étudiants en ingénierie une expérience pratique immersive dans le secteur de l’énergie, avec la possibilité de découvrir plusieurs disciplines, de visiter des sites industriels et de collaborer avec des experts du domaine.

Le stage proposé au sein de l’équipe Sécurité Fonctionnelle des Produits de GPTC permet de contribuer à la sécurité et à la conformité des centrales électriques selon la norme IEC 61511, tout en participant à l’amélioration des méthodes de travail et en collaborant avec différentes équipes techniques, des autorités de régulation et des clients externes.

Role Overview

The GPTC provides technical guidance, leadership, and tactical directions to drive product compliance and safety of the power plant. As an intern in the Product Functional Safety team, you will support team activities to provide safe and compliant power plants in accordance with IEC61511, improve work processes, and collaborate with functions such as Controls Engineering, System Engineering, Project Management, and with external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the team with specific tasks related to Product Functional Safety during project execution.
• Assist in the implementation of product safety continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving work efficiency, including the creation of new work processes and tools.
• Investigate the possible use of IT aids, including Artificial Intelligence, to support safety activities.

Qualifications

• Engineering university background, preferably in mechanical or energy field.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and a proactive attitude.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of other Information Technology aids (e.g., Artificial Intelligence, Visual Basic) is a plus.
• Fluent in English.
