Alternance - Ingénieur(e) Support Commercial Industrie, Mobilité, Infrastructure
Your work environmentYou will join the Industries, Mobility and Infrastructures (IMI) division, serving the Stationary, Railway and Off‑Highway Mobility markets.
From chemistry to systems, including electronics, Saft designs and manufactures bespoke Ni‑Cd and Li‑ion battery systems for OEMs, as well as backup power and traction applications, exported worldwide.
We work closely with our customers at every stage of a project: initial design, prototype development, testing and large‑scale manufacturing in our production facilities across Europe, Asia and the United States.
Based in Levallois‑Perret (92) and reporting directly to the Africa Sales Manager within the France & Africa Sales team, your team is composed of the Manager and three Sales Engineers (OEMs and Operators). Your main customers include Sonatrach, OCP, SNCF, RATP, Alstom, Keolis, Chloride, Benning, as well as distributors. You will be part of the South Europe team (France, Italy, Spain).
Activities
As part of your work‑study program, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing quotations for spare parts
- Supporting battery sizing activities (pre‑project phase) and participating in discussions with internal technical teams and customers
- Managing customer claims, deliveries and spare parts offers (coordination with Quality and Logistics teams in Bordeaux, Raskovice and Oskarshamn)
- Providing technical responses to customers and coordinating requests with factory technical teams
- Updating the CRM, project databases and price analysis tools
- Building project offers in collaboration with the sales team
- Coordinating with project teams
- Sales data reporting at European scope (English required): monitoring sales and order intake versus Budget and Forecast, and maintaining CRM data
Candidate Profile
Fourth‑year student (Bachelor +4) from a generalist engineering school or a business school with a strong technical interest.
An initial professional experience (internship or work‑study program) would be a plus.
Knowledge and technical skills:
- Technical and commercial skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Good command of English (written, spoken and understood)
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
