Job Overview

Rothschild & Co Martin Maurel, entity of the international group Rothschild & Co, seeks an alternant in the Permanent Control Service starting September 2026. You will join a team of 8 and report directly to the Permanent Controller responsible for anti‑money laundering, financing of terrorism and corruption risks.

Responsibilities

• Perform second‑level controls in anti‑money laundering, financing of terrorism and anti‑corruption areas (client due diligence, asset freezes, FATCA/CRS transparency, training, etc.) following the annual control plan.
• Evaluate first‑level control arrangements and report results.
• Draft control findings and facilitate corrective action requests to business units.
• Provide control findings to business units and follow up on corrective actions.
• Participate in internal and external reporting activities.
• Contribute to department projects (regulatory monitoring, implementation and rationalisation of control plans).

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a higher education degree (ESC, Master's II) specialised in finance (audit, risk management, compliance) or law.
• Knowledge of banking and financial operations and their regulatory environment.
• Ability to integrate into a team, maintain confidentiality, integrity, organise work, be rigorous, flexible and diplomatic.
• Analytical capabilities and synthesis skills.
• Fluency in English.
