ALT 2026 - Apprentice Manufacturing Engineering Industrial Architecture
Overview
Apprentice Manufacturing Engineering Industrial Architecture (M/F) – Airbus Operations – Toulouse. This apprenticeship is open for a duration of 3 years, starting in the 2026 school year, as part of the OMBB department responsible for the industrial architecture of Final Assembly Lines (FALs).

Responsibilities
Under the guidance of your tutor, you will develop skills by contributing to and leading improvement projects in the FALs to support production ramp-up. Your main activities will include:
- Develop methods and solutions (digital or otherwise) tailored to operational teams
- Create dashboards to monitor multidisciplinary operations
- Support and convince operational teams to use the solutions
Propose innovative ideas to improve the industrial system relative to measured performance. Archive performance data and decisions to consolidate knowledge for future projects. Explore FAL system behavior through simulation techniques.
Qualifications & Prerequisites
You will join a BAC+5 level training in industrial engineering for a 3‑year apprenticeship. Required knowledge and skills include:
- Manufacturing engineering general
- Industrial assembly process and tolerance management principles
- Industrial system engineering
- Industrial designer
- Process performance engineering
- Modelisation, simulation (AnyLogic..)
- Software development: Python, Java
- Artificial intelligence (prompting, etc.)
- Soft skills: curiosity, humility, honesty, openness, creativity
Languages and collaboration: expect collaboration with stakeholders in France and Germany. Proficiency in English is needed for daily exchanges (phone, video, or in person). Depending on offers, travel may be required.
Selection Process
The recruitment process includes a recruiter review, a deferred video interview, and interviews with the hiring manager. A final candidate is selected after these steps.
