ALS Sales Manager _ WAF
Role and Responsibilities:
PCM is looking for an ALS Business Developer / Sales Manager for its regional scope to lead the commercial development of its pumping solutions dedicated to Artificial Lift Systems (ALS) in West and Central Africa. You will play a key role in driving regional growth through strategy definition, key account management, business development, internal coordination, and performance monitoring. As the primary commercial point of contact for oil & gas clients, you will help strengthen long‑term partnerships while ensuring the application of PCM’s HSE standards and overall operational excellence.
Business Development
- Define and implement the commercial strategy for PCM pumping solutions dedicated to well activation (ALS) across the WAF region (West & Central Africa).
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts and regular customers.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities (prospection, business development).
- Lead tender responses, commercial negotiations, and contract management.
- Ensure the achievement of revenue and margin targets.
Customer Relationship
- Act as the main commercial representative for oil & gas clients in the region.
- Develop long‑term relationships with technical and procurement decision‑makers.
- Drive engagement on strategic accounts and coordinate commercial actions.
- Represent PCM during client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
- Organize customer training sessions on PCM pumping solutions for ALS applications.
Internal Teamwork
- Work closely with existing operations teams in the region.
- Coordinate activities with management and support teams based in France.
- Ensure accurate communication of customer needs to technical and project teams.
Performance Management
- Provide regular commercial reporting (pipeline, opportunities, sales, forecasts).
- Update CRM tools and commercial dashboards.
- Deliver market, competition, and commercial performance analyses.
HSE – Health, Safety & Environment
- Promote and apply PCM’s HSE policy across all commercial activities.
- Raise customer and partner awareness of HSE best practices related to ALS solutions.
- Coordinate with operations teams to integrate HSE considerations early in the commercial phase.
Profile
- At least 5 years of proven experience in Oil & Gas and Artificial Lift Systems (ESP, Gas Lift, PCP, Rod Pump or equivalent).
- Fluent in French and have at least a B1 level in English.
- Autonomous, proactive, and demonstrate strong initiative.
- Adapt easily to multicultural and evolving environments.
- Recognized for excellent customer relationship skills and the ability to build long‑term trust.
- Know how to collaborate efficiently with technical, operations, and project teams.
- Position requires mobility and the ability to travel regularly.
