AIT Coordination Manager, Kourou

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily shopfloor activities to meet production targets
• Coordinate with La Défense, Vernon and other Kourou local teams, especially on manufacturing engineering tasks (jigs & tools definition, work instructions…)
• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of operators
• Monitor productivity, efficiency, and quality performance metrics
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Identify process improvements and implement lean manufacturing practices
• Manage workforce planning, shift scheduling, and resource allocation
• Collaborate with production in Vernon, quality, and supply chain teams
• Resolve operational issues and escalates when necessary
• Train and develop staff to improve skills and performance
• Maintain accurate production records and reports

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Previous supervisory or management experience
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Good understanding of production processes and quality standards
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations

Qualification

• Degree or diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
• Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement
• Familiarity with ERP and production management systems

Working location and start date

• Expected start date in Vernon and La Défense: second quarter 2026
• Expected start date in Kourou: fourth quarter 2026
