Aircraft Maintenance Engineer EASA B1 (H/F)
A leading international aircraft manufacturer is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer EASA B1 to join its Customer Support and Worldwide Repair Operations team.
This position offers the opportunity to work on complex aircraft repair and maintenance projects worldwide, supporting airline customers during critical maintenance, structural repair and aircraft recovery operations.
As part of a specialized technical team, you will oversee repair activities from planning through embodiment and release to service while acting as the manufacturer's technical representative on customer sites around the world.
Your Responsibilities
- Act as EASA Part 66 B1 Certifying Staff for maintenance and repair activities
- Manage aircraft repair projects from preparation through final release to service
- Coordinate technical teams and subcontractors on customer sites
- Ensure compliance with EASA regulations and maintenance requirements
- Supervise maintenance, repair and structural modification activities
- Monitor project progress, quality standards, safety requirements and delivery schedules
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting during aircraft recovery and repair operations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with airline customers and maintenance organizations
- Support planning, logistics and engineering teams throughout project execution
- Ensure all work is completed according to the highest industry quality and safety standards
Required Profile
- Valid EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence Category B1
- Minimum two current Airbus Type Ratings in B1 category
- Minimum five years of certifying experience in a supervisory or lead role
- Strong experience in aircraft maintenance, heavy maintenance or structural repair environments
- Advanced English required
- French, German or Spanish would be considered an advantage
- Strong customer-facing skills and ability to work in international environments
- Excellent safety awareness and commitment to quality

Travel Requirements
International travel represents approximately 50–60% of the role, depending on customer requirements and project assignments. Missions can range from several days to several weeks worldwide.
