Technical Documentation Engineer (f/m)

Airbus Commercial Aircraft seeks a Technical Documentation Engineer to join the Operational Unit “Technical Data Support and Services” based in Toulouse, France.

Responsibilities

• Authoring: Manage authoring activities related to IPC, AMM & TSM, ensuring on‑time delivery, quality and cost‑effectiveness.
• Analysis: Analyze Airbus Design Office Data (drawings & design modifications) to define the impact on maintenance manuals delivered to airlines.
• Subcontracted authoring: Monitor and steer subcontracted maintenance authoring activities.
• Documentation delivery: Deliver documentation content in accordance with specifications, contractual commitments, approved schedules, quality standards and within budget objectives.
• Safety & quality: Secure fulfillment of safety rules, quality process and technical data guidelines.
• Risk management: Identify and manage risks related to priority, cost and quality.
• Continuous improvement: Propose a continuous improvement plan for technical data processes, documentation production activities and IT tools.
• Customer support: Answer daily customer queries, implement maintenance instruction changes when necessary, ensure performance requirements and participate in meetings with customers when required.
• Transverse technical data activity: Contribute to transverse technical data activity such as Product Leader Delegate role, focal point for transverse external interface and contribution to technical data projects.

Qualifications

• Bac+5 degree with experience in aircraft maintenance in the aeronautics field.
• Knowledge of aeronautics, aircraft maintenance and aircraft systems (flight controls, autopilot).
• Knowledge of technical documentation and technical data authoring.
• Knowledge of configuration management.
• Customer support experience.
• Experience with SAP tool.
• Dynamic, proactive with a positive mindset.
• Good team player and good organizational skills.
• Communication skills and assertiveness.
• Advanced level in English (C1).
• Project management.
