Job Overview

Airbus Commercial Aircraft seeks a Technical Documentation Engineer (f/m) in Toulouse, France, within the “Technical Data Support and Services” unit. The role focuses on documenting impact of design changes in technical data manuals for the Auto‑Pilot system perimeters across Airbus programs (IPC, AMM, TSM).

Responsibilities

• Manage authoring activities for IPC, AMM, and TSM, ensuring on‑time delivery, quality, and cost‑effectiveness.
• Analyze design office data to define impact on maintenance manuals delivered to airlines.
• Monitor and steer subcontracted maintenance authoring activities.
• Deliver documentation content in accordance with specifications, contractual commitments, and approved schedules.
• Secure fulfillment of safety rules, quality process, and technical data guidelines.
• Identify and escalation risks related to priority, cost, and quality.
• Propose continuous improvement plans for technical data processes, documentation production activities, and IT tools.
• Provide customer support by answering daily queries and implementing maintenance instruction changes.
• Participate in customer meetings when necessary.
• Contribute to transverse technical data activities (product leader delegate role, focal point for external interface, TD project contribution).

Qualifications

• Bac+5 degree with experience in aircraft maintenance.
• Knowledge of aeronautics, aircraft maintenance, and aircraft systems (flight controls, auto‑pilot).
• Knowledge of technical documentation and technical data authoring.
• Knowledge of configuration management.
• Customer support experience.
• Experience with SAP tool.
• Dynamic, proactive, positive mindset.
• Good team player with organizational skills.
• Communication skills and assertiveness.
• Advanced English (C1 level).
• Project management skills.
