At ORTEC ENGINEERING SPAIN, we are strengthening our aviation engineering teams to support Airbus repair, modification and Working Party activities across major civil aircraft programmes.

We are looking for an Aircraft Embodiment Engineer (AEE) with solid experience in aircraft maintenance, structural repairs and technical preparation activities, capable of supporting repair and modification projects from the preparation phase through on-site execution.

The selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring that repair and embodiment activities are carried out safely, efficiently and in compliance with technical, quality and airworthiness requirements.

Job Description

As an Aircraft Embodiment Engineer (AEE), your responsibilities will include:

  • Analysing technical documentation related to repair definition (drawings, work instructions, specifications and engineering documentation).
  • Defining intervention and repair implementation procedures.
  • Preparing Working Party documentation packages (work instructions, task cards, instruction sheets and checklists).
  • Developing post-installation and post-repair test programmes.
  • Planning and coordinating the supplies required for repair activities.
  • Defining the quantity, packaging and content of repair kits (packaging, repair materials, consumables, equipment and associated special tooling).
  • Coordinating logistics flows with internal departments and stakeholders.
  • Performing lessons learned and feedback activities to support continuous improvement.
  • Maintaining full mastery of applicable standards and procedures, including technical, quality and safety requirements.
  • Developing and optimizing work procedures and operational methods.
  • Manage non-standard situations and technical deviations.
  • Act as a technical focal point and subject matter expert for the team.
  • Supporting teams working in the tooling store is an integral part of the role.

Profile

We are looking for professionals with:

  • Technical qualification ranging from Higher National Diploma/Associate Degree level to a Bachelor's or Master's degree (aerospace industry).
  • Experience: 3 years of technical aircraft, ideally within MRO project management or airline environments.
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance, including:
    • EASA Part-145 regulations;
    • Aircraft technical documentation;
    • Maintenance operations and environments.
  • Knowledge of aircraft structures and systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken).
  • Experience in Working Party, AOG or field technical support environments.
  • Availability for national and international travel.

Valuable Additional Skills

  • Autonomy, attention to detail, discipline and strong organizational skills.
  • Responsiveness, professionalism, and analytical thinking.
  • Previous experience in OEM technical support roles.
  • Engineering degree or strong technical aircraft systems background.

Job Requirements

  • The position may be based on site at Airbus facilities (e.g. Teruel, Toulouse, or other locations), working directly within the customer environment.
  • Candidates must provide an updated CV together with relevant qualifications and certifications.
  • Understanding the requirements of all stakeholders involved in the repair process.
  • Providing technical support during repair activities.
  • Proactively proposing improvements to the application of aircraft procedures in order to enhance project performance and efficiency.
