Aircraft Delivery Engineer - A320neo

This role will involve representing the company onsite at Airbus Final Assembly Line and Delivery Centres during aircraft production, testing, acceptance, and delivery phases.

The successful candidate will act as the key liaison between the airline, Airbus, vendors, suppliers, and internal technical teams to ensure aircraft are delivered in line with contractual, regulatory, and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the company onsite during aircraft production, inspection, acceptance, and delivery activities.
  • Conduct technical inspections during assembly, pre-delivery, customer acceptance, and handover phases.
  • Identify, document, and follow up on defects, non-conformities, concessions, open items, and workmanship issues.
  • Review and manage production concessions and deviations to ensure compliance with safety, contractual, operational, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, CAMO, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations teams.
  • Liaise with Airbus, cabin vendors, modification providers, BFE representatives, and third-party suppliers.
  • Monitor vendor performance, installation progress, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
  • Review aircraft documentation including build records, modification status, SB embodiment status, cabin configuration compliance, technical records, weight and balance documentation, delivery documentation, concession records, and vendor documentation.
  • Attend production meetings, quality reviews, concession review boards, vendor meetings, and delivery readiness meetings.
  • Support ground tests, functional checks, and customer acceptance flights where required.
  • Provide regular status reports covering production progress, risks, vendor performance, concessions, quality concerns, and delivery timelines.
  • Support the smooth induction of delivered aircraft into operational service and maintenance programmes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Aeronautical Engineering, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, or a related aviation discipline.
  • 5–8 years of aviation maintenance or aircraft delivery experience.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience on Airbus A320neo family aircraft, ideally with LEAP engine experience.
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, production processes, aircraft acceptance procedures, airworthiness requirements, concessions/deviation management, vendor coordination, and airline/MRO operational requirements.
  • Previous experience in aircraft delivery, OEM liaison, production inspection, quality assurance, concession management, vendor management, or aircraft entry-into-service activities preferred.
  • Experience working with Airbus documentation systems, vendor coordination processes, concession workflows, and technical records advantageous.
  • Strong technical inspection, troubleshooting, reporting, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple suppliers, delivery workstreams, production pressures, and timelines.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a multicultural environment.
  • Willingness to travel between FAL and Delivery Centres and relocate/work onsite internationally for extended periods.
