Job Description:
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an Aircraft Control Simulation Business Owner (f/m) to join the Airbus Design Office based in Toulouse, France.
You will join a transversal team whose mission is to contribute to the definition and deployment of processes, methods & tools used to design Flight Control Systems across all Airbus programs. We are particularly contributing to the definition of the tool chain involving models & simulation applications. Our models are used all along the development flight cycle from early development with preliminary analysis during the sizing phase to formal testing before certification of our product.

Responsibilities
- Identify, capture, consolidate and prioritize simulation needs for future programs for the whole Flight Control domain.
- Ensure interface between simulation business needs and digital solution frameworks.
- Follow and influence the evolution of the simulation framework developed by other Airbus Simulation teams.
- Massive simulation: Define solution for massive simulations for Aircraft Controls in collaboration with other Tools/Simulation teams and deploy first use cases.
- Contribute to maturation of new solutions & prototypes through proof of concepts development.
- Support simulation environment interface definition.
- Coordinate & support model developments in the domain (e.g., actuator models, hinge moment). You could also be responsible for the development of a model.
- Ensure consistency of all models used during sizing phases with the needs.
- In strong collaboration with A/C multi system teams, define framework to deliver models and to perform efficient sizing activities.
High impact as the solutions defined could be retrofitted on legacy programs.
Your boarding pass
- Knowledge: Aircraft systems and flight physics, Aircraft Control systems.
- Proven experience on model development & simulation applications.
- Strong knowledge of MATLAB & SIMULINK.
- Ability to perform scripting.
- Knowledge of LINUX, Cloud & big data concepts.
- Familiar with integration tools (JIRA, JENKINS) and configuration process (GIT).
- Negotiation level of English (French will be a strong additional asset).
