Job Description
You will be part of a passionate, cross‑functional team: the Aircraft Control Modelling & Simulation and V&V entity. Our mission is mission‑critical: we design, deploy, and validate the high‑fidelity simulation environments that define the flight control systems of tomorrow.
As the work package leader, you will spearhead the development of advanced simulation platforms that enable engineers to design, test, and certify flight control systems. You will hold full accountability for Time, Cost, Quality, and Performance (TCQP) targets within your perimeter.
Responsibilities
- Drive budgets and secure delivery commitments (Cost/Time/Quality) within a complex, multi‑project environment.
- Unite and challenge a cross‑functional team (internal staff and subcontractors) to foster a culture of excellence and high performance.
- Negotiate critical milestones with stakeholders and ensure strict adherence to the technical roadmap.
- Anticipate bottlenecks, secure development trajectories, and provide strategic reporting to senior management.
- Deploy automation solutions and harmonize processes to enhance development quality and agility.
Qualifications
- Advanced expertise in aircraft architecture and flight control systems.
- Proven track record in managing high‑stakes Work Packages, maintaining full accountability for Budget, Planning, and Quality while driving multidisciplinary teams to success.
- Lead‑level proficiency in high‑fidelity modeling and V&V methodologies.
- Ability to bridge deep technical dive and stakeholder influence; guide experts and decision‑makers, uphold highest standards of Ethics and Compliance.
- Expertise with industry‑standard tools (JIRA, GIT, Jenkins) and strong command of Airbus test environments (VSIM‑D, SIMPA, A/C 0) to accelerate delivery.
