Aircraft Control Certification Specialist (m/f)

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Certification Specialist (m/f) to join our Engineering department based in Toulouse, France. You will be part of a team developing flight control systems within the Flight Controls team, focusing on certification and airworthiness activities to ensure safety and compliance of our aircraft programs.

Location

Toulouse, France – a global capital of aeronautics and a dynamic city in the southwest of France.

Responsibilities

• Define and negotiate Certification Plans with airworthiness authorities to certify systems modifications.
• Coordinate various stakeholders (designers, suppliers, test centers, pilots) to ensure timely issuance of means of compliance.
• Manage the interface with Airworthiness Authorities throughout the certification process.
• Lead continuous airworthiness assessments, investigate potential safety issues, and elaborate preventive and corrective actions.
• Contribute to system safety analyses, including Functional Hazard Analysis and System Safety Assessment.

Qualifications

• Significant professional experience in system safety, system certification and qualification, or automated flight system development.
• Demonstrated knowledge in system physical architecture, integration, and engineering.
• Strong communication and influencing skills to effectively interact with multidisciplinary teams and authorities.
• High degree of autonomy, team spirit, and ability to foster trust.
• Negotiation level in English.
