AI Solutions Engineer (Remote - EU)

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an AI Solutions Engineer in the European Union. We are seeking an AI Solutions Engineer to serve as a technical bridge between advanced AI foundation models and customers in life sciences and biomedical research. In this role, you will guide clients from onboarding to deployment, integrating SDKs and APIs into cloud environments, and providing hands‑on support for AI model usage. You will collaborate closely with R&D, Product, and Business Development teams to translate customer needs into practical solutions. This position combines software engineering, cloud deployment expertise, and strong communication skills to enable scientists and engineers to leverage AI effectively. You will also gather feedback to inform product improvements, participate in solution architecture, and contribute to high‑quality developer‑facing assets, all while working in a fast‑paced, innovative environment.

Accountabilities

• Develop and maintain Python SDKs and APIs for AI foundation models, ensuring usability and scalability
• Guide customers through technical onboarding, integrating solutions within cloud infrastructures (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Design and implement robust solution architectures, advising clients on best practices for deployment, containerization, and MLOps pipelines
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers, providing workshops, troubleshooting, and ongoing support
• Collect and synthesize customer feedback to influence product development and R&D priorities
• Create and maintain technical documentation, tutorials, code samples, and reference architectures
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Product, R&D, and Business Development teams to align technical solutions with strategic objectives

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Python, with experience writing clean, well‑tested, and maintainable code
• Hands‑on experience deploying applications and AI/ML models in cloud environments (AWS preferred, GCP/Azure a plus) using containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure‑as‑code principles
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including object‑oriented and functional programming, data structures, and CI/CD workflows
• Experience integrating SDKs and APIs (REST, gRPC) into complex applications
• Exceptional customer‑facing communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences
• MSc in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
• Full professional fluency in English
• Desirable: experience in Pharma, Biotech, or Healthcare; familiarity with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, JAX); AWS ML services (SageMaker, EC2, S3, IAM, VPC); and experience in fast‑paced startup environments
