AI Software Engineer – Junior or Experienced (Paris, France)
Overview
We are looking for Software Engineers to drive the transformation into AI Software Engineering. Join our growing team at our Champs‑Élysées office or across France to work on our fast‑growing, cloud‑based SaaS solutions. You’ll learn new AI tools (Claude‑ and OpenAI‑based) to evolve our products and building practices, progressively taking ownership of product components and growing into a technical leadership role.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java, iOS, and React features and microservices powering our FieldLogs SaaS platform.
- Build secure, scalable, and high‑performance APIs used by our backend and mobile field applications.
- Work on data modeling, data mapping, and aviation/industrial data standards (traceability, audit logs, compliance).
- Contribute to R&D topics, including configurable business logic, execution engines, and domain‑specific components.
- Ensure reliability, performance, and scalability in a cloud‑native SaaS environment.
- Handle integration with external systems used by aviation and industrial clients.
- Collaborate closely with mobile, QA, and functional teams through code reviews, testing, and agile delivery.
- Progressively take ownership of technical topics and prepare for leadership responsibilities (mentoring, technical guidance, small project ownership).
Qualifications
- Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- 2–4 years of experience in backend software development.
- Strong expertise in Java, backend development, and microservices architectures.
- Experience with API design, integration, and lifecycle management.
- Solid understanding of data modeling and complex business workflows.
- Experience or strong interest in SaaS, cloud platforms, and B2B products.
- Interest or experience in aviation, regulated, or industrial environments (compliance, traceability, auditability) is a strong plus.
- Exposure to domain‑specific languages, rule engines, or interpreters is a plus.
- Awareness of UX/UI constraints for mobile or field‑based applications is appreciated.
- Interest in technical ownership, R&D challenges, and leadership growth.
- Passion for delivering reliable, production‑ready code in real‑world environments.
- Fluent in English (spoken & written).
- Comfortable working in multicultural, international teams.
- Strong communication, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
