AI / Machine Learning Engineer – Generative AI
At Aramis Group, the international entity of Aramisauto, we are transforming the way Europeans buy refurbished cars. Damien, our Head of AI & Data, is looking for an AI / Machine Learning Engineer specialising in Generative AI to help us build and scale our LLM capabilities across the Group.
You will join a young, multidisciplinary data team working on concrete, high-impact use cases for our customers and employees.
Your mission
- Build and deploy Generative AI solutions that improve customer interactions
- Develop reliable, scalable and production-ready LLM applications for Aramis Group’s different countries.
- Explore new AI approaches, assess their value and share your learnings with the team.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our AI products, from experimentation to production monitoring and optimisation.
Concretely, you will…
- Design, develop and deploy conversational AI agents
- Work on voice-based use cases, including AI-powered call handling, speech-to-text and text-to-speech.
- Integrate LLMs, APIs, vector databases and RAG architectures into business applications.
- Build and maintain robust data and AI pipelines using Python, SQL, Docker and cloud technologies.
- Monitor production systems, investigate incidents and communicate proactively about releases and malfunctions.
- Contribute to technical choices, including the assessment of whether to build or buy a solution.
- Share your findings and help the team stay up to date with the fast-changing Generative AI ecosystem.
- Take responsibility for the safety, quality and reliability of the solutions you develop.

The profile we are looking for
- You have a degree in data science, machine learning, statistics, econometrics, computer science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- You have several years of experience in AI or Machine Learning Engineering, with hands‑on experience developing and deploying solutions in production.
- You have strong technical foundations in Python, SQL and Docker, as well as a good understanding of machine learning and deep learning concepts.
- You have practical experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG architectures, vector databases or conversational AI.
- You understand the different stages of a data or AI project and know how to focus on the value created for the business and the end customer.
- You are curious, proactive and comfortable testing new approaches, asking questions and challenging your own assumptions.
- You communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, and you are comfortable working in a multidisciplinary and international environment.
- You are fluent in French and English. Spanish or Italian would be a plus.

You will be based in Arcueil, with a hybrid working model: 3 days per week on site and 2 days remotely.
