AI Lead - Permanent - France

My client is seeking an experienced AI Lead to join a fast-growing AI-driven SaaS organisation based in Paris.

This is a hands‑on leadership role where you will be responsible for driving the design and delivery of advanced AI solutions, leading a team of AI and Data Engineers, and helping shape the future direction of the company's AI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture, development, and deployment of advanced AI and multi-agent systems.
• Combine traditional machine learning techniques with modern Generative AI and Agentic AI frameworks.
• Drive the transition of AI research initiatives into scalable, production-ready solutions.
• Establish evaluation, monitoring, and LLMOps frameworks to ensure performance, reliability, and governance.
• Mentor and develop AI Engineers, Data Scientists, and Software Engineers through technical leadership and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to deliver innovative AI-powered features.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of hands‑on experience delivering AI/ML solutions in production environments.
• Strong expertise in Python, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and large-scale data processing.
• Experience designing and implementing Agentic AI solutions and orchestration frameworks.
• Deep understanding of vector databases, knowledge graphs, and modern AI architectures.
• Experience with LLMOps tooling, evaluation frameworks, and model monitoring.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and business stakeholders.
