AI algorithms for the next generation high-capacity optical networks, with a goal to facilitate and automate network design, operation and management, and is performed in teams spanning across multiple international Huawei research sites. Main Responsibilities:

• Research and innovation in the area of AI applied to the design, operation and management of complex systems (optical networks); Theory exploration, advanced algorithm design, analysis, and simulation; Generation of intellectual property and patent filing; Collaboration with other team and business units for exploitation of research outputs; Create and maintain strong collaborative associations with university-based researchers.

Position Requirements

• Ph.

D. degree related to gen

AI / large models;

• Familiarity with Python and other programming and simulation tools; Ability to conduct independent research while also contributing to team-oriented projects; Publications in leading journals and conferences, and/or patents; A good background in physics will be appreciated; Fluency in English, oral and written communication skills.
