AI Engineer - Product

You'll own the automation of compliance rules end to end.

That means: take a rule, understand how a compliance expert actually applies it, use our internal AI tools to do it faster, build the solution, and ship it into production. Done means the tool runs in a real report and the rule resolution time drops.

You won't be doing fundamental AI research. Your job is to build on top of our R&D efforts and save hours that, today, the industry spends on manual labour.

What makes this hard

Your tickets won't be fully defined. You'll work directly with the CTO and compliance experts to understand the scope of each automation, then figure out the best solution.

The problems don't have obvious solutions. The best answer is usually not the most technically elegant one. It's the one that actually runs reliably and ships fast.

You need to understand both the AI side and the product side. Most engineers are strong on one. This role requires both.

What we're looking for

Strong Python engineer who has shipped AI solutions to production users.

You understand how AI building blocks work: agents, OCR, document parsing, embeddings, vision models. You don't need to have used all of them. You need to be able to combine them.

You've worked at a startup or built your own products. You know what it means to own something end to end.

Ideally, you've automated a real-world professional workflow, not just built features inside a software product.

Product-minded. Curious about how people actually work. You come out of an expert interview with a technically actionable brief, not a vague wishlist.

You get energy from shipping. Two to three week cycles, visible impact, constant iteration. That should sound good to you.

What we're not looking for

Someone who needs a clean spec to start.

Someone who optimizes for technical elegance over speed.

Someone who wants to do fundamental AI research. That's a different team.

The setup

You'll report directly to the CTO.

You'll work alongside our AI Product team and collaborate with the R&D team for new primitives.

You'll work in sprints of 2 weeks. Output is measured by reduction in report time.
