What you will be doing:
You will be on a development journey to guide your growth into the role of an Aerodynamics Engineer and can expect to be involved in the following:
- Generation of the model characterising the aerodynamic behaviour of the aircraft
- Adapting the Aerodynamic model to the novel configurations being explored for our next generation airliner.
- Populating these models with CFD data campaigns and Wind Tunnel testing. You will be directly involved in organising, running and exploiting the wind tunnel data.
- Rotations will be to work with our stakeholders, such as future projects office, wind tunnel department, flight control law design, flight performance team. Your development journey will include a minimum of one rotational placement to support your growth into position. At the end of the two year development programme, you will have developed into the position of Aerodynamics Engineer !
What we are looking for:
To be a successful applicant, you will need to demonstrate you have:
- A degree level or equivalent within aeronautical engineering
- Recently graduated or first professional experience in the field of aeronautical engineering
- Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English)
- A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation
- The ability to be self aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.
This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
