Are you a university graduate with the aspiration, enthusiasm, and talent to help us pioneer sustainable aerospace for a safe and united world? Every year, Airbus invites bright minds from around the globe to fill critical roles that will shape our future.

When you begin your career with us, we don’t just offer a job; we accelerate your growth through the Airbus Global Graduate development journey. This personalized, two-year experience cultivates professional skills, business acumen, and technical abilities, while emphasizing leadership potential from day one.

You will demonstrate readiness to take on future leadership challenges within Airbus.

What you will be doing

  • Cockpit Systems Design: Participate in the design of future avionics platforms for next-generation aircraft (IMA, AFDX), display systems, and the flight warning system. This includes capturing requirements from aircraft operations, designing the solution, its integration, and performing verification & validation (V&V) activities.
  • Preparing the Future: Contribute to the evolution of systems on our best-selling aircraft and pave the way for breakthrough concepts such as autonomy and Artificial Intelligence, introducing the latest technologies (Visualization, Touch, Interactivity, etc.).
  • Transversal Skills Development: Engage in transverse system integration activities, liaising with other aircraft system teams (ATAxx), cockpit operations, and human factors specialists.
  • Innovative Methods & Tools: Drive the transformation of current tools to an MBSE environment and promote agile working methods (SAFe), while using simulation and automation tools (e.g., Matlab, Python).
  • Development Pathway: Your development pathway will include a minimum of one rotational placement to support your growth into the Cockpit & Avionics Platform System Designer position over the two-year programme.

What we are looking for

  • A degree level or equivalent within a relevant field of study (Systems and/or Avionics Engineering; Embedded Systems and/or Information Processing).
  • Completed non-aeronautical studies with an obvious interest in aeronautics.
  • Recently graduated or initial professional experience in Aeronautics, Avionics, Systems Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Knowledge in SE/MBSE is considered a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication in English; French is a plus but not mandatory.
  • A desire to work in a collaborative team environment focused on driving future innovation.
  • Self-awareness and a willingness to take the driving seat of your development.
