Job environment

Job title of the line manager: Team Leader Job title of the functional manager (if any): Responsibilities: To contribute to the management of goods flows by administering, preparing and supervising the shipment of packages and/or goods in accordance with the cost, quality, safety and lead times set, thereby contributing to customer satisfaction.

Scope of Activities

To carry out some or all of the following activities: 

• Check - and print, if necessary - all documents for each delivery (delivery note, label, sequence and instructions for use, etc.)
• Check and record each barcode to ensure traceability of the goods
• Produce the documents to be forwarded to the transportation contractor (packing list, labels, etc.) in accordance with existing procedures and country of destination
• Act as the transportation contractor interface for goods shipments
• List and report any faults detected to your line manager
• Advise the transportation contractor about the goods loaded
• Keep working areas clean and tidy, and take care of the equipment provided to ensure that the working environment remains safe
• Operate a machine/vehicle requiring a permit (forklift truck, trailer tugs, etc.)
• Check the operating and safety status of the production facilities and equipment
• Carry out one-off warehouse operational tasks.

The activities are to be adapted for employees on work/study contracts (vocational training contracts, apprenticeship contracts, etc.) to remain consistent with their theory training.

• Ensure that your team has the skills required for their jobs (QSE training, accreditations, etc.)
• Support QSE maturity development in your sector

5 to 10 years' experience in an operational role, an experienced SAP user or experience as a project leader
