Job Title: Aftersales Area Manager - France

As Aftersales Area Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing aftersales operations, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and driving revenue through service, maintenance, and parts and accessory sales in a designated geographical area. This role requires a deep understanding of electric vehicles, service network management, customer experience, and technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage aftersales service operations across multiple dealerships in the assigned region.
  • Ensure adherence to company service quality standards, warranty policies, and technical procedures.
  • Monitor and improve service center efficiency, repair turnaround times, and first-time fix rates.
  • Conduct performance evaluations of service centers, ensuring key KPIs such as customer satisfaction, revenue targets, and service profitability are met.
  • Work closely with dealers, third-party service providers, and internal teams to improve the aftersales network.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer experience in service and aftersales.
  • Ensure technicians and service advisors receive ongoing technical updates on new EV models, software updates, and maintenance best practices.
  • Oversee inventory management and availability of spare parts.
  • Monitor and report parts supply chain issues to reduce service lead times and costs.
  • Ensure proper warranty claim processes and compliance with Xpeng policies.
  • Identify and address recurring quality and reliability issues, working with country technical manager and HQ teams to implement fixes.
  • Work with internal teams to help with resolving customer complaints and complex service issues.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to promote aftermarket services, software updates, and accessories.
  • Stay updated on EV industry regulations, recalls, and service advisories.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, electromechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in automotive aftersales, preferably in the EV industry.
  • Experience in dealer/service network management and customer relations.
  • Strong understanding of EV powertrains, battery management systems, charging infrastructure, and high-voltage components.
  • Proficiency in diagnostics tools, remote monitoring systems, and software updates for EVs.
  • Knowledge of warranty management and service process optimization.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to work with dealers, corporate customers, and internal teams.
  • Ability to analyze data and performance metrics to drive service improvements.
