Valeo’s Site located in Issoire, France is a Research & Development Center and a Production Site. It employs over 570 people working on the development and manufacture of sensor and camera cleaning systems for autonomous vehicles, as well wiper blades.
The Aftermarket team is currently seeking a Project Manager M/F to lead innovation and standardization projects for wiper systems and wiper blades.
Your challenges : Participate in the project selection process: monitor technological developments, identify key future technologies, and conduct a preliminary assessment of identified innovation opportunities
Identify and select partners (laboratories, technology providers)
Lead research and innovation (R&I) projects on new product concepts for “wiper/washer systems and wiper blades” for the global aftermarket (IAM/OES) and/or advanced aftermarket development projects to create new standards and new products (new windshield wiper blade technologies, new adapters, etc.)
Define the project’s objectives and targets
Facilitate meetings to develop solutions for identified problems and needs
Identify the best tools, processes, and methods to effectively achieve the objectives (creativity tools, mockups, rapid prototyping, proof of concept, lab testing, etc.)
Assess needs (resources, skills, etc.) and key project milestones
Validate the achievement of project objectives (deliverables) and capitalize on project results
Ensure the protection of intellectual property (IP) for innovative ideas (protection and commercialization)
Organize and ensure a smooth and efficient transfer to the company once the decision is made to implement a new standard.
Your Profile :You hold a master’s degree (Bac+5) in Mechanical or Plastics Engineering and have at least 5 years of professional experience during which you have developed skills in mechanical product design and technical project management.
You are curious and known for your interpersonal skills and your ability to proactively engage with others. You enjoy putting your creativity to work.
Fluency in English is required.
