AFC Associate - SAR Delegate (Déclarant Tracfin)

Overview

We are currently seeking an AFC Associate / SAR Delegate (Déclarant Tracfin) to join our French MLRO function. In this role, you will coordinate and own key anti‑financial crime operations activities, including reviewing AML‑CFT investigations, supporting due diligence and EDD processes, and submitting SARs.

Responsibilities

• Review investigations performed by the AFC Operations department.
• Assist AFC Operations in their investigations.
• Oversee complex case investigations, sanctions reviews, and other AFC related processes.
• Review and submit SARs, ensuring quality according to Tracfin and ACPR expectations.
• Review complex Authority Requests.
• Provide individual and collective guidelines to AFC operations analysts.
• Prepare necessary templates for AFC Ops communication with customers.
• Implement and improve local procedures based on regulatory challenges and group standards.
• Coordinate with other operational functions working on the French market.

Qualifications

• Graduated in law (Ecole de droit/Master II) or from a Grande Ecole or similar institution.
• At least 3 years of experience in anti‑financial crime with operational and investigative background.
• Proven experience in SAR drafting, transaction monitoring, sanctions, and adverse media screening.
• In‑depth knowledge of European and French regulations on Financial Crime (KYC, AML, terrorism financing, fraud, tax evasion, sanctions).
• Fluent in French and English (spoken and written).
• Excellent communication, analytical, advisory skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Hardworking, resilient, solution‑driven and able to work under pressure.
