Advertising & Retail Media AdTech Lead (W/M)

Your role
As part of the International Merchants and Advertising team and reporting to the Global Head of Advertising, you will drive the design and rollout of a consistent, scalable adtech stack across Edenred's Benefits & Engagement apps and commerce ecosystems. You will support mature markets (e.g., France, UK) and accelerate emerging ones (e.g., Brazil, Italy, Mexico, Romania, Türkiye), turning advertising into a key and user-safe revenue stream.
Operating as an advertising center of expertise, you will contribute to enabling our merchants to activate full funnel campaigns leveraging our mobile applications and Ecommerce ecosystems in a multi-country network.
In a fully compliant setup, you will ensure first-party data collection/processing, campaign execution, and measurement and will be in charge of taking our adtech stack to the next level with Product & Tech teams to ensure best-in-class advertising activations, tracking and monetization.
You will:
- define the global adtech architecture and phased roadmap for in-app and web monetization including: web analytics, marketing automation, display and sponsored listing/search monetization aligned with mobile and e-commerce-like use cases,
- establish vendor strategy selection and partnership management: run RFPs and manage relationships for ad server, analytics/BI, CMP, CDP.. with clear SLAs,
- coordinate our adtech projects and integration to ensure robust platform architecture and performance,
- fuel these capabilities with advertising use cases (display, sponsored search, CRM…) and audiences strategies (define a compliant audience infrastructure and segment governance for first data) built with business teams to provide our merchants 'ready audience products' serving their marketing needs,
- provide advanced analytics and reporting to maximize monetization potential and best in class campaigns performances (ad revenues, delivery and user outcomes),
- act as a center of expertise at group level providing continuous support for countries, ensuring knowledge management and innovation,
- make sure global vision and tooling convergence is consistent with local levels of maturity (unlock "minimum viable stack" and "advanced stack") and partner with commercial teams on packages, pricing models and merchant reporting.
Your profile
This new role leads the strategic implementation of advertising activities and requires a demonstrated technical expertise, a strong business acumen and project management capabilities to build and scale a robust business.
You have/are:
- 7-10 years in adtech/retail, media/digital, marketing (media agency, publisher/ad network, or platform) including mobile app monetization,
- a deep technical expertise: mobile ad serving, in-app bidding, SDK integration, RTB, ad server configuration… but also privacy and measurement background,
- data and analytics fluency: event taxonomy, SQL/BI basics, experimentation/incrementality, outcome-based reporting,
- a product mindset: design placements that protect UX and drive results; translate merchant needs into packaged offerings across the funnel (awareness, engagement, sales, retention).
- a program manager in complex, multi-country environments; ability to influence Product, Data, Engineering, Legal, and local market teams.
- excellent communication skills; fluent in English (additional language is a plus).
