Administrator advising on parliamentary business of DE language (IRC )
I. INTRODUCTION
Europe of Sovereign Nations (ESN) Group in the European Parliament is seeking a temporary Administrator (AD 7) for its Secretariat in Brussels. The ESN Group is a newly founded political group of 27 MEPs from EU member states dedicated to restoring sovereignty and self‑determination.
II. JOB DESCRIPTION
The Administrator will support ESN Members in carrying out parliamentary duties. Key responsibilities include:
- Participating in and following up on legislative work in committees.
- Assisting Members with advice and opinions on parliamentary matters, especially in the TRAN and IMCO committees.
- Drafting amendments, briefing notes, voting lists, minute summaries and analytical notes.
- Maintaining contact and communication with other political groups and EU institutions.
- Coordinating and following up on meetings.
- Contributing to communication activities that support the smooth running of the Group.
III. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- National of an EU Member State with full citizenship rights.
- Minimum of 6 years relevant professional experience after completing a university degree (or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of German and very good English; good command of other EU languages is desired.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, computer proficiency, and ability to work in an international multidisciplinary environment.
- Availability for frequent meetings, irregular working hours, and occasional travel to Strasbourg.
