About the Office
The Joint Mission Management (JMM) office supports two U.S. Missions in France (the U.S. Mission to France & the U.S. Mission to the O.E.C.D.), serving nearly 1,200 employees across five constituent posts and numerous additional sites and offices.
Position Overview
The Administrative Assistant serves as the principal advisor and Aide-de-Camp to the Mission France and USOECD Management Minister-Counselor (MC) and to the Management Officer. He/she operates under the general oversight of the Management Officer.
In this role, the incumbent:
- Performs the full range of logistical, administrative, and oversight functions required to support the supervisors' work and responsibilities,
- Provides comprehensive work plan guidance and coordination across a section of 44 American staff and 219 Locally Employed (LE) Staff,
- Serves as a key point of coordination between leadership and section staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Some of these duties are performed in the Control Access Area (CAA) environments.
- All selected candidates must be able to obtain and hold a Secret (Sensitive ) security clearance.
- All selected candidates will be subject to a background investigation and may be subject to a pre-employment medical exam.
- Selected candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time (12 weeks) upon receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.

Education Requirements
Education:
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, Communications, International Affairs, Political Affairs, Organizational Management is required.
