Administrative and operational tasks are standardized. All backup procedures are built on the same model and integrated into the scheduler. Examining a database is sufficient to explain how the system works. A set of internal administration and management scripts will be made available.
PHASE 2: Level 2 support to handle complex operational incidents
All incidents are logged in the GLPI tool to ensure tracking and activity reporting. Incidents are reported by the DBAs. Incidents reported by users to the helpdesk are forwarded to the DBAs for analysis and then assigned to the appropriate person if necessary. These incidents relate to databases associated with operational, business, or technical software in production, test, acceptance, or training environments.● Analyze and resolve production incidents (application processing stoppages, error messages, etc.) ● Diagnose the causes of malfunctions (performance analysis, etc.) and propose corrections and alternative solutions ● Restore the database if necessary ● Prepare deliverables: installation and operating procedures, reports
PHASE 3: Technical assistance to address planned requests
The aim is to respond to requests for work for which planning is possible. These requests are divided into those that can be identified today and those whose scope is not known in advance and which require a preliminary assessment.
