Actuary Team Manager - Pricing & Forecast Models

What you’ll be doing:

Join AXA Partners as a Pricing & Forecast Models Manager!

Key responsibilities:

• Lead a team of actuaries in developing and overseeing standardized pricing models across multiple regions.
• Support underwriting and reinsurance teams during tenders by providing tailored pricing guidance.
• Adapt and deploy pricing methodologies while integrating solvency constraints developed by Group Risk Management.
• Perform in-force portfolio valuations across all country, product, and risk permutations, reporting profitability forecasts to senior management.
• Contribute to the deployment of sophisticated pricing tools, including API-driven platforms, in collaboration with IT and Digital teams.
• Provide structured actuarial analysis for strategic studies and planning exercises.
• Recommend pricing and pruning actions to optimize portfolio profitability.
• Coach the team in advanced statistical modeling (GLM, GitHub) and foster innovation in pricing approaches.
• Ensure compliance with risk management and valuation requirements (STEC, ECR, IRR, etc.).
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Underwriting, Finance, Risks, Digital) and external partners to ensure effective deployment of pricing solutions.

What you’ll bring:

• Qualified actuary with 6+ years’ experience in insurance, with strong knowledge of pricing and valuation techniques.
• Coding skills in R mandatory; knowledge of other languages appreciated.
• Excellent communication, pedagogical, and team management skills.
• Fluent in English is mandatory. Proficiency in Italian, Spanish, or French is a plus.
• Ability to challenge traditional methodologies and support digital transformation initiatives.
