Actuarial ALM & Modelling Analyst
Location: Puteaux
Contract: CDI – Cadre
Experience: Master2 in Actuariat, Finance, Asset Management, Risk or an engineering cycle with a finance/ banking/ insurance specialization.
Responsibilities
- Support the Asset/ Liability Management team and contribute to the Risk Department’s activities across all Swiss Life France entities (life, non‑life, health and consolidated).
- Track solvency risks in the Solvency reference framework: calculate required capital, monitor financial and insurance risks, analyse data, prepare communication of results to decision‑making bodies and support solvency indicator management.
- Calculate and analyse market risk indicators (equities, rates, spreads, real estate, FX) for the group’s subsidiaries.
- Participate in ALM studies, analyse impacts and document changes.
- Prospectively evaluate company risks within medium‑ and long‑term budgeting processes (e.g., ORSA).
- Contribute to the industrialisation, reliability and optimisation of processes as part of continuous improvement and solvency monitoring.
- Track liquidity risk through a dedicated framework.
- Develop, improve and optimise tools (including the ALM projection model) for more precise risk management.
- Engage in various development projects on innovative and strategic topics.
- Follow current topics or research in financial areas (regulatory monitoring, actuarial modelling, economic news, etc.).
- Collaborate on cross‑functional tasks with the Solvency II reference team (internal ratio reconciliation, SII ratio assessment for subsidiaries).
Qualifications
- Strong actuarial skills are essential.
- Knowledge of SolvencyII is desirable.
- Basic English and financial knowledge are a plus.
- Logical thinking, strong analytical ability and clear prioritisation of ideas.
- Team‑spirit and dedication to the service’s interests.
- Motivation to understand and explore new, sometimes complex, subjects.
- Appetite for the insurance, ALM and finance domain.
