About the Opportunity

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Accounts Receivable Specialists for a business services company in Saint Joseph, MN. In this role, you’ll support the company's accounting operations by managing customer invoicing, payments, and billing activities while ensuring accurate financial records. If you enjoy working with numbers, problem‑solving, and providing excellent customer service, this opportunity could be a great fit.

What You’ll Do

• Process customer invoices and perform job costing activities
• Maintain accounts receivable records and ensure aging reports are current and accurate
• Verify invoices for accuracy and proper documentation before payment processing
• Monitor incoming customer payments and apply payments correctly to accounts
• Resolve discrepancies between payments and invoices and investigate billing issues
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing, invoices, and payment status
• Assist with journal entries and collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing disputes

What You Need to Bring

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel
• Previous experience working with accounting software
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial information
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
• Previous accounts receivable, billing, or accounting experience preferred
