As part of the Accounting team based in Paris, we are looking for an Accounts Payable Accountant in charge of the French entity activity. This role is a key addition to our team, opened specifically to reinforce our capabilities and support our daily operations.
Reporting to our Head of Accounting, you will ensure the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions, maintain accurate vendor records, and contribute to the efficiency of the accounts payable function.
In coordination with all the stakeholders, you will also participate in the implementation of a new P2P solution.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and verify vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Resolve discrepancies and address vendor inquiries
- In coordination with FP&A and treasury, prepare and process vendor payments in accordance with payment terms
- Manage payment runs
- Perform bank reconciliations and post journal entries
- Participate in the development and implementation of a new P2P solution
- Identify and recommend process improvements, update accounts payable policies and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy
About you
- 3+ years of experience in a similar accounting role
- Proficiency in using accounting software, P2P solution and ERP systems
- Capacity to evolve in an international and challenging environment
- Experience in the implementation of a new P2P solution
- Ability to work well in a team and to communicate efficiently
- Fully fluent in French and English to collaborate daily in an international environment
