Accounts Payable / Comptable Fournisseurs

Overview

As part of the Accounting team based in Paris, we are looking for an Accounts Payable Accountant in charge of the French entity activity. This role is a key addition to our team, opened specifically to reinforce our capabilities and support our daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
• Resolve discrepancies and address vendor inquiries
• In coordination with FP&A and treasury, prepare and process vendor payments in accordance with payment terms
• Manage payment runs
• Perform bank reconciliations and post journal entries
• Participate in the development and implementation of a new P2P solution
• Identify and recommend process improvements, update accounts payable policies and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a similar accounting role
• Proficiency in using accounting software, P2P solution and ERP systems
• Capacity to evolve in an international and challenging environment
• Experience in the implementation of a new P2P solution
• Ability to work well in a team and to communicate efficiently
• Fully fluent level of French and English to collaborate daily in an international environment
