Accounting Manager - PeopleSoft
We are looking for a Responsible for the Accounting and Accounts Payable Department to lead our financial operations, ensuring compliance with internal policies and excellence in reporting. In this role, you will be key in reviewing and approving payment proposals, preparing financial indicators, and working closely with our team in France to guarantee the accuracy of financial statements each quarter.
Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring internal controls, conducting self‑assessments, and coordinating with Finance on key figures for budget tracking, forecasts, and budget control.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Supervision of the Accounting and Accounts Payable day to day activities performed by the staff.
- Daily activities related to posting and approval of accounting records.
- Work closely with Financial Planning on the posting and mapping of the financial information required for budget tracking.
- Prepare quarterly financial statements under IFRS for Group reporting.
- Reconcile accounting records with Financial Planning for the P&L quarterly reporting.
- Continuous execution and monitoring of internal controls over Accounting and Accounts Payable.
- Coordinate with other company’s stakeholders on requirements from various areas.
- Support to the team involved in the implementation of the new ERP for AXA Assistance Mexico.
- Deliver all required information to internal and external auditors.
- Supervise and manage the work from the team, as well as provide them feedback about their performance.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong knowledge on Mexican FRS and IFRS.
- Proven experience on financial reporting processes, including the preparation of financial statements (annual and quarterly).
- Knowledge in managing transactions with related parties, tax, payroll and general accounting functions. Knowledge in Insurance and Assistance Services Industry is a plus.
- Strong skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (mainly Excel and PowerPoint).
- Knowledge in Accounting G/L applications or ERP are required (SAP, Peoplesoft, Contpaq).
- Accounting Degree.
- Advanced english.
- At least 5 years of experience working in Accounting roles, and 3 in a Manager role.
