Accounting Manager

For our Affiliate in France , we are recruiting a
Accounting Manager .
The Accounting Manager oversees and coordinates all accounting and financial operations for the French affiliate, ensuring compliance with local and group policies, accurate financial reporting, and effective support for business decision‑making. This role is responsible for leading accounting activities, maintaining full compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic insights through timely reporting and analysis. The Accounting Manager will play a key role in bringing accounting processes in‑house, strengthening internal controls, and overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and other finance‑related activities to support the organization’s growth and objectives.
Main Responsibilities
- Supervise daily accounting activities and ensure timely and accurate bookkeeping
- Coordinate month‑end and year‑end closing processes
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports
- Ensure compliance with local tax, legal, and group requirements
- Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Manage and develop the accounting team
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, working capital, and banking activities
- Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, and collection activities
- Reports directly to the Country Manager
- Act as a key business partner to the Country Manager and support financial reporting to HQ
- Drive continuous improvement of financial processes, controls, and reporting.
Requirements
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience in financial management, accounting, and reporting
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and local tax regulations
- Advanced Excel and IT skills for financial analysis and reporting
- Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system would be a strong asset
- Strong teamwork, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- High attention to detail and accuracy in reporting
- Strategic thinking with the ability to align finance with business goals
- Effective problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to improvement
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal and international stakeholders
- Native‑level French and professional fluency in English, both written and spoken, are required.

- Permanent, full‑time contract
- Annual Base Salary between € 57.000 and € 71.000
