Accounting Lead

In this high-impact role, you’ll guide key financial processes, influence decision-making, and support the teams driving Vantive’s success across the Benelux region.

This position offers flexibility across multiple possible locations, with both hybrid and remote working arrangements available.

Why this role matters

As our Benelux Accounting Lead , you\'ll serve as a trusted expert within the EMEA Controlling Organization. Your work ensures the accuracy of US GAAP and statutory financial statements, supports tax compliance, and strengthens the financial operations across our Benelux entities. Because this role interfaces directly with local stakeholders, auditors, authorities, and business leaders, fluency in Dutch is essential.

What you bring

• you’ll do Lead US GAAP, statutory, and tax accounting and reporting for the Netherlands and Belgium
• Deliver complete, accurate, and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to shareholders
• Act as primary liaison with local authorities for accounting, tax, and regulatory matters
• Support key financing activities such as reinvestments, dividend distributions, and capital contributions
• Prepare and present board documentation including annual accounts, financial performance insights, impairment testing, restructuring updates, and CAPEX plans
• Strengthen internal controls and ensure adherence to company policies, audit requirements, and local regulations
• Build strong, trusted partnerships with local business leaders and operational teams
• Serve as the subject-matter expert for complex accounting and tax topics
• Collaborate closely with Vantive Business Services and delivery partners on end-to-end finance processes
• Contribute to regional and global finance initiatives—championing continuous improvement and operational excellence

What you’ll bring (Qualifications)

• a bachelor\'s degree in finance or accounting; ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA (or equivalent) strongly preferred
• Significant experience in accounting or audit within a multinational and business services environment
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP, Dutch GAAP, and Benelux tax regulation
• Strong technical skills with reporting tools and MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (JDE experience is a plus)
• Fluency in Dutch and English
• Excellent communication, stakeholder-management, and project-leadership abilities
• A proactive, flexible, and solution-oriented mindset
