About the Role

This person will maintain accurate financial records and prepare financial statements in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and GAAP.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management & Process Improvement

• Adapt to ongoing system changes and integrations, ensuring smooth financial operations as the company grows.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in financial workflows and assist in implementing enhanced accounting processes.

Customer, Client & Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Act as the primary contact for external auditors, coordinating the audit process and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve financial discrepancies and assist in information sharing.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Financial Oversight & Budget Management

• Ensure compliance on tax matters to fulfill local requirements, including tax return optimization.
• Manage complex accounts receivable processes, including analyzing collection patterns and implementing strategies to optimize cash flow.

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Maintain and check financial data in the group's systems and support the elaboration of financial reporting.
• Audit financial information to ensure processes align with financial policies and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Fluent in English and Dutch; French an asset
• Strong expertise in accounting operations and financial processes
• Solid knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance
• Experienced in financial reporting and month-end close activities
• Proficient in audit preparation and support
• Advanced user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
