Accounting Associate

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for files of varying complexity according to acquired skills
• Serve as the primary client contact for engagement follow-up and deliverables
• Provide technical support while maintaining a strong relationship of trust
• Coordinate actions to be carried out on assigned files
• Monitor the profitability of your files and raise alerts when necessary
• Assist senior engagement managers

Requirements

• Minimum: DCG-level diploma (French Diploma in Accounting and Management)
• Ideally a Bac+5 (Master) such as Master CCA or DSCG
• At least 3 years of proven experience as an accounting associate in a French accounting firm
• Comfortable with IT tools (accounting/reporting software, Microsoft Office)
• Curious, rigorous, analytical, critical thinker and a team player
• Strong accounting and tax skills
• Good interpersonal skills to explain decisions and analyses
• Ideally able to communicate in English with some clients
